Land
The farm covers an area of 275 hectares. This area utilized as follows:
·         Arable land                                                      85 hectares
·         Pastures                                                           120 hectares
·         Wood lot                                                         10 hectares
·         Buildings                                                         20 hectares
·         Undeveloped land                                           40 hectares

Class Rooms
Class rooms can accommodate 285 students. This class is utilized as follows:
·         Gorofani                                                         70 Students
·         Two in one                                                      60 Students
·         Diploma I                                                       45 Students
·         Diploma II                                                      30 Students
·         Diploma III                                                     25 Students
·         AHPC                                                              45 Students                                        

Dining Hall
The Institute has dining hall with capacity of 350 people at time.

Farmers Training Courses
These are two days to five days seminars or two weeks to one year certificate courses. They are meant for productive producers from the farming (crop and/or livestock producing) communities.
These include:-
·         Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Enterprise Seminar/Course in which Agricultural Production, Processing and Marketing, Rural Community Development and Sustainable Issues are undertaken.
·        Water Care and Rural health Seminar/Course in which Water Supply, Water Quality, Sanitation, and  Environmental Improvement, Diseases and Health and Community Development topics are taken care of.
Note: Kiswahili is used as medium of instruction for these seminars and courses
